Its not irritating at all, unless you just dont like to read. It gives perspective to how steve feels he should portray the mood of the movie, maybe you didn't get that. As for the back of the book, that was more hype for people to be initially interested in. I honestly don't see how you could've predicted the book in 20 pages, the author made it to not be like that. Besides, the plot wasn't the big part of the book. I think this review was very unhelpful to potential readers. I read this book and the movie script format adds to the book.
